Where are they now ? Damien Dedich

Meet Damian Dedich, class of 2001.

Damian joined the Royal Australian Navy as an Officer through the Civil Schooling Scheme. His career progression towards becoming a Marine Engineer Officer commenced through attending the New Entry Officer Course (2012) after completing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Engineering Practice at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) (2012).

Upon graduating, Damian learned how to apply his engineering knowledge in the RAN through the Engineering Officers Application Course and various postings on board HMA Ships Ballarat, Anzac, Warramunga and Stuart. Throughout his time in the Navy he has participated in various exercises and operations around Australia and the world.

Damian is currently posted to HMAS Kuttabul, at the DDG SPO, as the Deputy Platform Systems Portfolio Manager for the RANs newest Destroyer Capability.
