Where are they now ? Courtney Woods

Meet Courtney Woods, class of 2018.

Once Courtney graduated, she knew she wanted to get into healthcare or medicine. She was accepted into the University of Newcastle’s Bachelor of Pharmacy (honours) degree at Callaghan Campus in 2019. Courtney was completely thrown off by how difficult the course was going to be but nevertheless stuck it out. She has one year left to go at uni and one year internship meaning she will be a fully qualified pharmacist by 23. Whilst studying full time, Courtney has also been working at Kuoch Chemist in Woy Woy for almost 3 years where she has been offered an internship. “I have such a huge passion for working in the healthcare industry and I know my time for studying is not yet over. I am already planning my future of returning to uni to complete a Masters in Leadership in Medicine.”
