Was your child away this week?
Please be aware that it is a legal obligation to provide a reason for this absence within seven days. You should have received an SMS on the day of the absence (years 10 and 11), and a note is sent home the next week with your child if it was only for one day. Greater absences are sent in the mail. A slip is attached to return to explain the absence. Alternatively you can:
1) reply to the SMS
2) use the school App on smartphones to reply. Scroll across the yellow tabs at the bottom to Absence Notes and fill in the form with the explanation.
3) Call 4341 1600 and staff will record the reason
4) Email woywoy-h.school@det.nsw.edu with the reason for the absence
5) Send a note the next day with the child
