Brisbane Water Secondary College Woy Woy Campus is a local comprehensive coeducational high school. Our students come from a diverse range of socio-economic backgrounds. It is therefore essential that the school takes into account the different values and expectations of the various groups we serve. Despite this variety, our community is unified in its support of the school's main purpose which is to work together caringly and supportively to identify and to develop the abilities of each person within our school community.
In our endeavours to fulfil this purpose, the school provides a curriculum which presents the opportunity for a variety of students to have their needs addressed. Our curriculum enables students to choose from the following learning experiences: traditional academic courses; vocational education courses; creative and performing arts; and special education courses. Our learning programs are supported by a strong and multi-faceted student welfare program which provides the flexibility to tailor assistance to the individual needs of students so that they can achieve their goals and aspirations.
